UNILEVER TO REVIEW MEDIA PLANNING AND BUYING SERVICE
Unilever has announced that it will be reviewing its media planning and buying services in several of its leading countries. This is in line with company policy to review media agency arrangements periodically.
Currently, most of Unilever’s media services are provided by aligned, leading agencies from within the WPP, Omnicom and Interpublic marketing services groups. All three agency groups will be invited to participate in the review.
Laura Klauberg, Unilever Vice President Global Media, said, “As we drive media innovation and improved value for Unilever, and as dramatic changes in the media landscape reshape our communication needs, we are continuing to evaluate the service and capabilities of our media agency partners across all disciplines.”
“Unilever has undergone significant change over the last four or five years and this review gives us the opportunity to find the optimum solutions for our business.”
The review will commence in July 2009.
